Brian from France has 11 years experience, working all over the world and even spent a year at Château de Camarsac to learn the wine process first hard. Rameesh from Sri Lanka, the resort’s second senior and qualified sommelier, joined the team recently and was previously running an award-winning bar in Abu Dhabi. Last, but by no means least, is Upali who has been with us here on Hurawalhi since just after the resort opened and he can usually be found at Canneli restaurant advising about the wide choice of wines available with the all-inclusive plan – over 60 wines can be enjoyed by the glass!

It’s renowned for its gourmet journeys, made perfect with fabulous wines, which have received the prestigious 2019 Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator.
