100-Foot Journey at Coco Bar at Hurawalhi
Here’s a cocktail that’s as much about the journey as it is about the taste. At Hurawalhi’s Coco Bar, the 100-Foot Journey is more than a drink; it’s a celebration of proximity, freshness, and the island’s boundless creativity.
The story begins just a few steps away from the bar, in Hurawalhi’s lush Herb Garden. Between the soft rustle of basil leaves and the glimmer of ripening citrus, the ingredients that define this cocktail are cultivated with care. The distance between the garden and Coco Bar is a mere hundred feet, but within that short journey lies a world of flavour.
Here, the island’s bartenders transform the garden’s bounty into a refreshing gin-based cocktail that embodies Hurawalhi’s connection with nature. Crisp cucumber, fragrant basil, and the gentle bitterness of grapefruit meet in perfect harmony a sensory nod to sustainability and craftsmanship. The 100-Foot Journey doesn’t just taste fresh; it is fresh, grown and gathered right where the island meets nature creativity.
