What‘s the resort’s drone policy?
While drones are not allowed at the resort as such, you are welcome to book the Dream Island excursion and take beautiful aerial footage from there.
What weather can we expect to have?
The Maldives experiences favourable weather conditions throughout the year. Average air temperature is close to 30 degrees Celsius and water temperature constant at around 28 degrees Celsius. June, July and August can brings a chance of stronger breezes and short showers, however the tropical climate results in relatively minor variations in daily temperature and a great deal of sunshine all year round.
Which type of sockets are used in villas? Do we need to bring an adapter?
All villas are equipped with UK 3-pin sockets. Continental European plugs will also fit. If required, adaptors are available for purchase in the gift shop.
Are life jackets provided? Can they be used for snorkelling?
Life jackets are provided in each villa. For snorkelling it’s advised to rent inflatable snorkelling vests from the dive center.
Are there any discounts available for airline employees and workers in the hospitality industry?
We currently don’t have such a discount policy in place.
We’re living on Hulhumale. Can we visit the resort for the day?
Hurawalhi doesn’t offer day visit passes, however you are welcome to book lunch or dinner at 5.8 Undersea Restaurant.
We’ll be staying at Kuredu or Komandoo. Can we come to Hurawalhi for the day?
